30-day money-back guarantee

Use the board. Cook on it. Take it outside. If it is not right for you, return it within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the purchase price.

Return shipping

For orders delivered in the lower 48 United States, returns started inside the 30-day window are prepaid. We email you the label and it costs you nothing.

Outside that, return postage is the customer's responsibility. That means a return started after the 30-day window has closed, or an order delivered to Alaska, Hawaii, a US territory, an APO or FPO address, or any destination outside the United States.

How to start a return

Email info@bacaboard.com with your order number and a sentence about what did not work. We will reply with instructions, and a prepaid label if your order qualifies. You do not need a reason we approve of.

Condition

We expect a returned board to have been used. That is the point of the guarantee. Please send back the board, the knife and the accessories together: the diamond sharpening plate, the mineral oil and the cotton cloth. We cannot refund a board that has been damaged through misuse or modification, or that comes back without the knife.

Refunds

Once the return reaches us we inspect it and refund your original payment method within five business days. Your bank or card issuer may take a few days more to post it. Any shipping charges paid on the original order are not refunded.

Damaged or defective on arrival

Do not use the return process. Email us with photographs and we will send a replacement.

One-year warranty

Every BACA Board carries a one-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, beginning on the delivery date. If something fails that should not have, email us with photographs and we will repair or replace it.

The warranty does not cover normal wear. A maple board dries out and a blade dulls. That is expected, and it is why the mineral oil, the cotton cloth and the diamond sharpening plate ship in the box. It also does not cover damage from dishwashers, prolonged soaking, or using the knife as a pry bar.
